“打折了，促销了！所有商品便宜卖了！”在同学们一声声叫卖声中,“跳蚤”市场拉开了帷幕。
周五晚上，英语角举行了一次活动——“跳蚤”市场物品交易会。要求每人带几样自己用不着，但别人还能用的物品进行交换，买卖。我很感兴趣，就报名参加了。
晚上七点，同学们都准时来到了预约地点，老师作了简单解说并宣布规则：商品买卖交换过程中，必须用英语交流。
同学们把桌子搬到走廊里，排成一排当柜台。卖家站在柜台里展示商品，买家站在柜台外面挑选商品。我来到自己的柜台前放上“商品”：一对蜡烛台、一个魔术球、一个铅笔袋、四张蝴蝶枫叶书签、两瓶肥皂花、两串手串和几支笔。这些被我闲置了很久，准备丢弃的东西，到这儿竟然变成了抢手货，很快就吸引了众多“爱好者”的眼球。大家都拥到我的柜台前，摸摸这个，瞧瞧那个，全都两眼放光。我还没有定好价钱，就有很多人拿出钞票往我手里塞，边塞还边说：iwantthis(我要这个),iwantthat（我要那个）。最受欢迎的是“蝴蝶枫叶书签”和“肥皂花”，很快被一抢而空。虽然都是以一元的低价卖出的，但是我依然很高兴。因为我是第一次这样赚钱！

卖出铅笔袋以后，来看我的'商品的人还有不少。有一位阿姨，拿起我的烛台看了一看，觉得很漂亮，十分想拥有，但是她想了一下，嘴里又念叨着：“现在蜡烛不好买，我买这个烛台有什么用呢？”然后，又轻轻放下，转身走了。我想：我不也是因为这个原因才把烛台拿来卖了的吗？
现在，轮到我去买别人的东西了，我围着所都店铺转了好几圈，都没有发现我需要的东西，我心想：“好东西大概都被别人买完了吧！”就在这时，妈妈从孙天怡的店铺中花5元钱淘到了一个“计数跳绳”。妈妈说：“我正想买一个计数跳绳呢！跳绳的时候能帮我计数，多好，物美价廉，还是全新的呢！”
