2、it is time to take the advice of ... and to put special emphasis on the improvement of ... 该是采纳……的建议，并对……的进展给予非常重视的时候了。

这个暑假我去了北京，参观了清华大学。早就听大人们说过清华大学是一所非常著名的学校，每年全国会有很多优秀的考生报考这所大学，在去清华的路上，我就一直在想：清华大学是什么样的呢？它和我们学校一样吗？它有几栋教学楼？……突然我身后的一位阿姨说：“清华大学最早是一座皇家林园，后来被改建为大学的。”“哦，公园？那一定很大吧？一定和乌鲁木齐的红山公园差不多大吧？”我自言自语地说。带着一大箩筐的问题，不知不觉地就来到了清华校园的门口。
一进门，“天哪！”我禁不住叫起来，这里比我想象的大得多，红的瓦、绿的墙、瓦蓝的天空上飘着几朵白云，灿烂的阳光从茂密的枝叶中间射进来，射到小路上；射到水面上；射到我们每个人的脸上。
我们搭乘了校车浏览了清华校园的全景，听说著名文学家朱自清当年在清华大学任教时就是在这里的荷花池边写出了抒情散文《荷塘月色》，我和妈妈立刻想到要去看看那片荷塘。因为校园太大，所以我们一时间不知该往哪个方向走才能找到，我等着妈妈想办法，可这一次妈妈却站在一旁不发话，看样子是想锻炼我，让我自己想办法了。我只好硬着头皮去问那些举着小旗子的导游，顺着导游指的方向我和妈妈终于来到了荷花池边，这里真美，绿油油的荷叶连成了一片，粉红的荷花在水中绽放，几只淡蓝色的蜻蜓在水边飞上飞下……我被眼前的美景深深吸引了，不由自主的拿出朱自清的《荷塘月色》轻声地读了起来：“这几天心里颇不宁静。今晚在院子里坐着乘凉，忽然想起日日走过的荷塘，在这满月的光里，总该另有一番样子吧。……”就这样我在荷花池边的小路上一圈一圈的走着，将散文一遍一遍的读着，似乎不知道累，时间过得真快，妈妈提醒我该走了，我恋恋不舍地离开了校园，在回去的路上天仿佛更加的蓝，阳光仿佛更加的灿烂，我的心也象鸟儿一样的在飞翔，我想：我以后一定要考得清华大学来，我也要像这里的大哥哥大姐姐们一样，到这所知识的殿堂中汲取养分，成为优秀的、对社会有用的人。
